WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO BE A MINISTRY PARTNER?
Digital Distribution
The goal of this type of ministry partnership is to leverage digital platforms to freely share LMW Resources at scale through the most accessible and cost-effective means.
One of our most strategic approaches to digital distribution in most parts of the world is providing direct, free access to our resources on the LMW App. Another means of digital distribution is a ministry partnership with WeDevote, a Bible study mobile app with international reach that allows users access to Biblical resources translated into their native language. WeDevote has been most effective in helping Chinese-translated LMW Resources reach users in restricted China. Support of the 5 Core Languages project has made translation of The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® into Chinese & other languages possible, so that when made available to download on the WeDevote digital platform, our materials are able to reach millions of Chinese users who wouldn't otherwise be allowed to obtain a physical print copy by their government.
Print Distribution
The goal of this type of ministry partnership is to distribute print LMW Resources in translated languages to meet the need for print material and provide digital access as an added benefit.
One partnership with global outreach in distributing print resources is OM’s Ship Ministry, which delivers knowledge, help, and the hope of the Gospel to the world’s port cities and many of the most remote communities. The ships combined average one million visitors each year. By partnering together, both active ships, Logos Hope & Doulos Hope, began distributing LMW App access, providing app training, and stocking print LMW Resources in their traveling bookstores where book prices are appropriately adjusted based on the port’s local economy.
They are distributing the Minister’s and Believer’s Handbooks free of charge to pastors and new believers. In 2025, LMW expects to distribute over 3,000 print resources through OM Ships in the Caribbean and Southeast Asia. LMW relies on both large partnerships like OM’s Ship Ministry and small partnerships, even individuals, to distribute print resources to those in need all over the world.
Translation
The goal of a ministry partnership in translation is to produce accurate, theologically sound translations that support and strengthen all other distribution and ministry efforts.
A key partner in expanding global access through translation is Christian Lingua, a leading Christian translation ministry that partners with churches and organizations to make faith-based content accessible in over 220 languages. LMW currently partners with them to translate the Preacher’s Outline and Sermon Bible (POSB) into Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, and several other languages that support our global ministry reach.
Another partner, World Connect, based in Lema, Peru, has a team of highly trained linguists dedicated to translating Spanish materials. They share a strong missional alignment with LMW, and the revenue generated from their translation services helps fund evangelism efforts in the Peruvian jungle.
Training
The goal of ministry partnership in training is to equip pastors and leaders by using LMW Resources in live trainings and providing print or digital materials for ongoing growth.
A long-standing example of an impactful training partnership is in Nigeria, where we've partnered with Timothy Olonade of El Rehoboth Global Leadership Foundation for over 15 years by providing LMW Resources to equip this large network of pastors in need of support. 52 million Nigerians in 40 tribes who speak 15 languages have never heard the Gospel in their language. El Rehoboth supports the local pastors who can best reach their own communities. In 2022, LMW distributed 2,000 print copies of The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible in Nigeria through Timothy and his network.
Another partner, Michael in India started a Seminary in India that has planted over 180 churches across India with a goal of 1,000 new churches. Currently, 57 students (12 in person) are training to be pastors. The seminary and its students are facing religious persecution where legislation passed has made evangelizing to Hindus illegal.
